In this issue, I want to tell you about the source of BIG affiliate profits. And who doesn't like those?
So this week I had to go to the eye doc to see about getting the cataract removed on one of my eyes.
I did one eye a year ago or so. But I still have to do this other one. I didn't want to do them both at the same time.
So I found the eye doctor highly recommended on YELP. Good idea, eh?
So we walk into his office. I mean, complex. It's huge and very fancy. After the girl at the door takes our temperature with some kind of high tech gizmo we sit in the gigantic lobby with the fancy leather sofas.
One wall is a gigantic big screen TV. Now, to put this in perspective, when I had Lasik done on my eyes around age 30, I had the doc do it who did Troy Aikman's eyes, a very famous quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys football team.
He had a relatively big screen TV. But it wasn't a whole, enormous wall. This one occupied a giant, enormous wall. I should have snapped a pic but didn't think to do it.
Anyway, I had some medical expenses this year. So I've met my deductible and figured the cost would basically be free.
After getting eye exam and all that, I talk to the "money guy."
Turns out I can get the "manual" procedure done that my insurance pays for. But you know, according to him, it's kind of dicey. They can't adjust it any. And if it heals a little off,then I could need glasses even for using the computer.
YUK!
We're thinking, "OK, we need option B which is the Lasik, right?"
Well, option B turns out is NOT covered by insurance. But it has more measurements and if it doesn't heal perfectly, they can touch it up with Lasik.
So option B was $4,600 OUT OF POCKET!
That's MORE than I paid to have Lasik done on BOTH eyes. And this was ONE eye.
The point of this story is simple: The way you afford 90 employees and a ginormous lobby with a whole wall that's a TV is you sell a crapload of $4,600 cataract jobs!
Which brings us back to YOU and affiliate marketing.
You want to be a high flying affiliate?
Well, it's nice to have those cash flowing $10 or $50 commissions. But to haul in the big bucks, you need your equivalent of the $4,600 cataract job!
There ARE affiliate offers that pay big amounts like that. You CAN find them. I would look at Clickfunnels vendors, for example.
But since I'm not that in touch with them, here's one method I DO know about:
You can search Clickbank by DOLLAR AMOUNT. Keep in mind, there are many, many platforms with affiliate offers on them. You do NOT have to use Clickbank.
But it's easy, so I'll use it as an example. You'll find the Clickbank Marketplace here.
Here's one that pays $893:
Maybe you can find an offer on there you like for you niche or maybe you can't.
1. If you can't, then you research other affiliate platforms. Look for people in your niche who appear to be selling bigger tickets as an affiliate. You do that by getting on everyone's email lists.
2. If you find nothing, then maybe that's a sign YOU should be the one who creates and offers the big ticket to affiliates who have no other choice! You have a legal monopoly!
Normally, a good way to find the big tickets in your niche is to get on all the email lists, then register for all the webinars.
Webinars usually sell the bigger ticket offers.
You can even strike up an informal affiliate deal where only YOU get the commission. You ask a great vendor to set something up for you.
Usually, these big ticket vendors have the sales process all worked out. All YOU have to do is send some traffic to them.
It's a pretty sweet deal.
For example, right now, Groove Funnels is a heck of a funnel and has some wicket commissions. A few of my friends are doing extremely well with it.
Be On The Lookout For High Quality PLR
I had one friend spend a good chunk (not cheap) for really high quality Private Label Rights, which allowed him to put his name on it.
In this case, he re-recorded it in his OWN voice. Then he created a webinar and sold it for MORE than he paid for the PLR!
There's not a lot of quality PLR out there. But from time to time, you WILL come across quality PLR. It's not a bad deal.
The Money Is In The List
I've talked to a few friends over the past 6 months who HAD big lists, in some cases huge lists, but they stopped mailing them.
After a few years, the list becomes much harder to mail.
Your list is a highly valuable asset. Never let it die! Keep it current and keep mailing it as long as it pays for itself.
One of the things I'm doing to build a list is I'm going to set up some books on free + shipping. It seems to be working pretty well.
You can talk for 3 hours on a topic, get it transcribed, edit it and have a 50-page book in short order.
It's really not that hard to talk on a topic for 3 hours if you come up with 3 topics and divide each topic into 10 minute segments.
It's very trendy to sell products that don't require list building.
What a HORRIBLE idea.
The list is the cash cow that pays you over and over and over for almost nothing.
It's the best thing you can get. And in my opinion, a HUGE mistake to pursure business models that do NOT build a list.
My Parting Thought Today
So my parting thought for you today is this: You don't have the fancy building and the ginormous big screen TV unless you got a $4,600 deal.
And it just shows you how you can have a few offers you promote that ARE higher dollar. And it can mean significant money to you.
And as always, I want to remind you that the money is in the list.
Never discard it.
Never stop mailing it.
Unless it's just not paying for itself which is pretty unlikely.

How To Get Approved As An Affiliate
1. If you're an existing Warriorplus.com affiliate, register to be an affiliate for the Affiliate Success Letter.
