5. The One Thing That Makes Me The Most Commissions On Affiiate Promos

In this issue, I want to give you a method that will get you more response.
I know you may just be starting as an affiliate or looking to ramp up.
The thing I want you to know is there's always a learning curve. That's normal and natural.
Most everything I've ever had work for me in marketing started out by NOT working.
The difference in the people who do well and the ones who don't is often simply that the people who succeed keep working at it, tweaking and pushing on one course.
Along the way, you learn little tricks that make a difference.
This is an image of one of the first direct response projects I started.
The thing is, I NEVER finished the project or ran the ad.
I talked myself out of doing it. It was a good idea. But I never followed through.
The first time you try an idea it's difficult, even painful. That's normal. Don't expect it to be otherwise.
But it gets better.
It gets easier.
One of the core tenets or principles of affiliate marketing is that the money is the in list.
Think about it.
1. You get people on your list
2. You send messages
3. People buy through your affiliate link
In step 3, you may or may not give people a bonus for buying through your link.
In step 2, you may or may not send content.
In step 1, you might have email lists, sms or text message lists, Facebook Messenger lists or even direct mail.
The thing I want to focus on today is the RELATIONSHIP with your list.
In step 2, you send messages.
I recently heard a video by Frank Kern where he said that he doubled his retention by adding motivational content to his products and communications.
You'll develop more of a connection with your list if you share motivational content here and there. And also some slices of life about you personally.
Now, I'd caution you NOT to live stream from your home (like your den or kitchen). It's proven that this can cause some problems with people who are mentally unstable.
Grant Cardone used to do the most incredible live streams from his home. They were so awesome. Boy, you really felt a connection to h im as a person.
But later he had a situation with a crazy person. And I think he stopped doing the home videos or at least not like he used to do.
So share some things about your private life enough that people feel they know you a bit. But don't make it too personal. Especially avoid sharing video from anywhere in your home other than your office.
It's a bit of an art. What I do is use Canva to remove the background of photos if they're done in my home. The pro version does that in 1 click.
Motivational content is much easier.
And there's a big bang for the buck. In other words, you only need to spend 10% or 20% of your time on it. But that has the potential to have a big increase on your affiliate sales.
Here's the KEY: If you notice that your list is kinda growing cold, send out a motivational article or video. Maybe your audience is just getting a little discouraged and needs a pick me up.
Elsewhere, I have a fascinating book to recommend to you. It's NOT particularly something that you'll actually apply or use. But it shows one of the most consistent approaches to building a database I've ever seen.
The author is Ted Stevenot. It's FREE right now if you have Kindle Unlimited, which I use all the time.
Wow, this book will teach you a LOT about lead generation in concept. You won't actually use it unless you sell business to business and don't mind using the phone.
But the principles are awesome. He's made 500,000 phone calls u sing this system.
It shows so much about how you value a list, how you qualify, follow up and so forth.
You have to apply what he's saying to the digital work. Fortunately, he has a podcast to help you do that.
You'll find multiple episodes there where he discusses digital lead generation, lead magnets, follow up and so forth.
I learned many years ago from Jay Abraham to take ideas from other industries and apply them to your own.

How To Get Approved As An Affiliate
1. If you're an existing Warriorplus.com affiliate, register to be an affiliate for the Affiliate Success Letter.
Depending on your stats in Warriorplus as an affiliate, you may be approved. But if you aren't, relax. There are other ways to get approved, as long as your refunds are under 5%. If your refunds are over that, message me on getyoursupport.com and I'll handle it on a case-by-case basis.
2. Subscribe to the Affiliate Success Letter
I'll approve you on a provisional basis. Your ongoing approval will depend on your percentage of refunds and chargebacks. You need to have refunds under 5% and chargebacks under 1% and continue on at the $5 / month level after 30 days.
