How Do Most Affiliates Build Their Lists
This is important.
What I have to say today isn't ABSOLUTE. There are exceptions. We'll talk about those.
But as a general rule, most affiliates build their list to which they promote affiliate offers by selling their OWN PRODUCT.
That's the easiest way to build lists of buyers.
Now, you can produce regular Youtube videos, offer a freebie in the description and build your list.
There ARE affiliates who do that.
You CAN product social media content, offer a freebie and build your list.
You CAN buy traffic to affiliate offers. Usually, the people who do this are promoting cost per action offers.
So it's NOT that you can't use these other methods. You can.
But the fact is, most of the successful affiliates I see who win leaderboard and such build their list by having one or more of their own products.
The reason is, you need new, fresh folks on your list to buy your affiliate offers. If you do NOT get this, you eventually live a painful, unhappy life.
But whether you have your own product or you're promoting affiliate products, you MUST builld your list regularly.

But with that said, you'll find that most affiliates placing on leaderboards have their own products.
For example, Connie Green. Top affiliate. But also promotes her own products. Same for Barb Ling and Dennis Becker. Same for the Youtube personality Miles Becker. Same for so many people.
Eric Hammer has a cool system where you offer a bonus product to upcoming product launches if they'll put it in a bonus slot on their download page. He has a little twist that makes it successful.
Start out with one. Then work your way up to 5 activities that build your list each week. That will give you regular income and stability.
