How to Make Referrals to Your Friends & Associates

The easiest way to make sales is to always mention our products to your friends and anyone you meet who's into marketing on or off the Internet. It's a very good method of advertising and it always works!

The problem with making recommendations to people via word of mouth is that once you tell them about the product and they ask for the URL, you're stuck trying to verbally give a really long and often complicated link, like this:

Example Link: http://getyourprofits.com/z/269/CDXXXXX

It's easy for you and them to mess up on that link especially if they are trying to memorize it or write it down without making an error!

To prevent this problem you can take a couple approaches but the one we found is the EASIEST (and the least expensive) isn't ad tracking or getting your own website on the Internet. (Those are great options but better served for custom endorsement pages or online link tracking.)

The method I personally use that virtually guarantees me short memorable links to use for word of mouth referrals is by registering a new domain at NameCheap.com for $8.88 and then I set up a URL redirect right on the spot (no waiting for DNS propagation) and that's where I enter the long URL or affiliate URL.

In just a few minutes you can have your name registered and have the URL redirect set up. And once that's done if you want to give a verbal referral for, say, the Action Grid product and naturally you want them to go through your Reseller URL first, all you need to give them is the basic domain name.

Example:

Instead of verbally giving this URL: http://getyourprofits.com/z/269/CDXXXXX

You'd be giving this URL:
http://www.whatever.com

(Whatever.com being the actual URL you register.)

To register your domain at NameCheap just go to: www.namecheap.com and find the domain you want, then register it and once you're inside your account just click on URL redirect, enter the long affiliate URL, hit submit, and you're all set!

Check it in about an hour or less and the URL will be live!
